About Us — Remo & Sandra Colasanti

Rooted in the plant. Driven by the people.

For more than two decades, Remo “UrbanRemo” Colasanti and Sandra Colasanti have helped shape Canadian cannabis from the legacy and medical era through to today’s regulated industry. Remo became one of Canada’s early federally authorized medical growers in 2001 and went on to become an internationally recognized cultivator and educator through UrbanRemo. Sandra has been an equally important force in that journey—advocate, entrepreneur and industry leader—helping build the businesses and community behind the REMO name.

Together they built Remo Brands and Remo Nutrients, combining decades of real cultivation experience with education, advocacy and a commitment to growers. Today, their story continues into Canada’s legal cannabis market: UrbanRemo and Mrs. Grower —bringing the knowledge, relationships and authenticity of the legacy era forward into legal cannabis
